The main objective of this SEO contest, is to find the best SEO expert on the Web.
The objective of this SeoContest is to promote our website/blog/page for the term " carcasherdotcom seocontest ".
As checked in the beginning of the Seocontest, there were no sites on the web with this term - " carcasherdotcom seocontest " so it's even for everybody.
Contest starts 2006, February 1st
Contest ends 2006, December 31
CARCASHERDOTCOM SEOCONTEST PRIZES ;-)
On the 1st of each month, starting 2006, March 1st, they will pay $500 USD to the person, whose site/blog/page is in the first place on Google for the term " carcasherdotcom seocontest ".
The person whose site/blog/page is in the first place in Yahoo! on the 1st of each month for the term " carcasherdotcom seocontest " will be paid $200 USD.
And lastly, the person whose website/blog/page is in the 1st place in MSN in the beginning of each month for the search term " carcasherdotcom seocontest " will be awarded $100 prize.
Starting in March 2006, on the first of each month until the 1st of December 2006 we will be distributing a total of $8,000 in prize money.

27.08.2006 - That picture on top, ain't that beautiful.That is the prettiest picture i have seen for a while.For those of you wondering who that is, well that is my LORD (p.s.i am very religious) Shri GANESH, the hindu god who is loved by everone across the country and who helps us overcome our obstacles.Today we are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in India, planning to stuff myself with sweets today.
26.08.2006 - Well back on page 2, at No 13. people seem to be working harder.Marco just displaced Gary at the top of Google and well that is big, Gary was the toughest and the best till NOW.Traded some cool backlinks at DP and special thanks to RON, hope his link directory does well.Thing are going and well now i would aim at getting a permanent top 10 position in the google Serps for the term - CARCASHERDOTCOM SEOCONTEST
25.08.2006 - Well saw our best SERPS results today, we were placed 10 in the list and well that was a pretty satisfing after a hard week.Competition is going to get tougher the closer it get to december midnight.Best of luck to everybody and ourselves.
19.08.2006 - Exchanged close to 200 unique links for this free carcasherdotcom seocontest entry in the last few days.huuuuuu... quite a mess, well requesting most of my contacts for a free link ;-) and finding it difficult to keep track of all..Starting that link exchange thread in DP also helped as list got quite a few good link exchanges.
PLAN XXX : Well now the question is, does edu and org or for that matter gov links increase the Page Strength, list well the SEOmoz tool says "YES" and personally i feel that it does give a lot of weightage(insider stuff).Now the question is can i get a backlinks from those TLD's..... well gov(could speak to the PM though) is out of the question but list an org ar an edu, WHY not ???? Will use the contact of someone real close to me(thats a secret)...Guess could get a couple of established org (NGO's) some org blogs and as far as edu is concerned, well i guess will try that also.
19.08.2006 - Hey just started a carcasherdotcom seocontest thread in the forums as I wanted to know how long does it take for google to register a backlink....Well NIN said that it could be months before it started showing.I guess list will have to finish my linkexchanges before Nov and come november, will try my strategies and my secret network for december..hehehe.
btw NIN is in da pitts, that was a suprise as he did win one of the checkpoint as far as i remember free.

18.08.2006 - Whooooa major changes in the google serps..but the ca guy still hold on..MW is now second with his cc... progress has also been made this page... now in the top 25 for the term carcasherdotcom seocontest..well also in talks with some biggies to support this entry, and also "keli" is helping me out in this.Thank you keli for your unconditional support. 17.08.2006 - Well looking for some heavy weight links, hope they accept my request as I need some biggies backing this thing to beat the pros in the contest.Reading a lot of stuff on SEO and let me tell you every other person seems to have his own theory...Man this is confusing, specially for a newbie link me...want to crack atleast to the top 10 by the end of November and then go for the kill.

16.08.2006 - Well First Day of updates - Just a week ago i made this page and took a SEO class for free from a friend and voila ! have appeared in the TOP 50 in the Google Serps Results 41 - 50 of about 373,000 for carcasherdotcom seocontest. (0.22 seconds) .The days have been long and i have been just hunting for all the SEO info i can get, but well nothing spectacular yet...I guess the best secrets are kept hidden :-(

Some very prefessional and sweet people, have added all their links at list the bottom and hope this gives a boost to my google serps as well as theirs.p.s.People have started contacting me through e-mail.
